3 Awesome Reasons for Joining Fizzle

By | Blogging, Freedom Journal | No Comments

I had joined fizzle a while ago and then I stopped being a member because I didn’t use it that much. I then spent $200 on a branding course and once I got into the members area I was shocked at the lack of content and the very basic information being supplied. It was then that I realized that I need to be back in the Fizzle community.

OK so what is Fizzle

Fizzle is a community of budding entrepreneurs with problems just like you and I.

According to the fizzle team:

Just-in-time courses for every step of your indie business. It’s like Lynda.com but better because it’s focused just on independent businesses and we’ve built the community right into the learning — this is where people are finding support, accountability, mastermind groups and more.

Fizzle answers tricky questions like:

  • how do I come up with a business idea?
  • how do I decide which social media channel to use?
  • how do I start using video
  • How do I do affiliate marketing
    and so, so, much more

They courses span from beginner to advanced so there is something for everyone.

One of the best parts about Fizzle is the Fizzle roadmap. a handy guide that helps you determine where you are in your business and supplies you with the necessary courses to hep you get to the next stage. Check out this post for more info and have a look and the graphics below to see where you are on the roadmap.

There is also a section called founders stories that have candid interviews with people like Pat Flynn, John Lee Dumas and Amy porterfield plus a plethora of other very well known talented peeps.

Here are three reasons I love Fizzle so much

Fizzle Reason #1

The amount of courses that are available to you is ridiculous. For the insanely small monthly fee of $35 you get a plethora of online courses that take you through everything with regards to starting an online business.

Fizzle Reason #2

The community willing to help you out is priceless, you never know who is having the same issue and who has a solution to fix the problem you have.

Sometimes the most basic problems become roadblocks and having many ears to listen to your problems is invaluable in online business. Knowing that you have a group of people willing to help you out makes all the difference.

Fizzle Reason #3

Reason number three Fizzle is so amazing is the awesome podcast they host every week it’s a combination of an extremely good time and wonderful insights into business development.

Did I say 3 Reasons? Here is a bonus one.

Bonus reason number 4 that you should check out Fizzle is the five week free trial they offer. This gives you enough time to really get into 3 or 4 courses and get to know everyone in the community. Chances are you’ll stay for much longer once you realize how valuable the content is.

So don’t hang around any longer, check out Fizzle and get started on your business.

Accomplish your goal in 100 days with the freedom journal.

By | Blogging, Freedom Journal, Personal Development | No Comments

Today marks the start of my 100 days with the freedom journal. My Journey to get my website polished and working lie clockwork.

Previously I have been a big fan of Hal Elrods Miracle Morning and have also used that in conjunction with the 5 minute journal. but I found that It didn’t help me define my goals and also wasn’t very action orientated. I found my self going through the process of getting up in the morning and getting my SAVERS done but never really taking action during the day to where I wanted to go.

If you are feeling a little confused about the miracle morning, then watch this.

Anyway, this isn’t a post about the miracle morning although I will still be following Hal’s morning process.

The Freedom Journal

About 4 months ago I discovered The Freedom Journal, the process was similar the 5 minute journal but seemed so much more. I have always had lots of fingers in lots of pies and feel like I can handle it most of the time but now I plan to follow The Freedom Journal and watch the process unfold.

Setting SMART goals is the foundation for the Freedom Journal. what is a smart goal?

  • Specific
  • Measurable
  • Attainable
  • Relevant
  • Time Bound

Here are my current SMART Goals

  • Build out my website www.ibbo.co so that it is something that I am proud off, reflects my talents and skillset and can be viewed as my online portfolio.

  • My plan is write 40 blog post highlighting my skills and to get better at writing (this is #1) as well as a theme update and build out relevant web pages to highlight me as a professional.

  • 40 blog posts in 100 days should be doable. The Freedom Journal will keep me accountable.

  • polishing my web presence and writing 40 posts will boost my confidence, help me build me online portfolio, help with my writing skills and ultimatly generate business either through my own clients or by getting a full time position.

Day 3 – Define My Audience/Problem/Solution

By | 30 Day Challange, Blogging, Content Creation | No Comments

Day 3 of the 30 day “Just Ship it” Challange. Feeling pretty good about the whole process. Here are todays tasks I have to do.

1. Set a date for your product launch.

The Launch date is set for April 2nd. My Dad died last year on December 18th and April 2nd would have been his 75th Birthday. Seems fitting.

2. Choose an audience, problem and potential solution.

My audience is players and parents of youth players that are new to rugby but can essentially be any rugby player that wants to improve their passing.

The problem is that many players cannot pass the rugby ball correctly or can only pass the rugby ball off their dominant hand. For players to advance their game the pass is a crucial part of rugby. I have confirmation from coaches at higher levels that the simple skills need to be practiced more from an early age.

break down the process of passing into easy bite sized pieces that promote success.

That’s it for today. see you in the next post.

Commit to the 30 Day Challenge & Brainstorm Ideas

By | 30 Day Challange, Blogging, Content Creation | No Comments

So here is the first part of the challenge I am doing through Fizzle. I need to state whether  I am committed to this challenge and if so I need to come up with some ideas that will be a viable product that I could launch within 30 days.

1. Decide if you are going to commit to this challenge over the next 30 days.

I have had great success as a rugby coach and had great feedback. but this year I couldn’t coach due to financial issues, so this is my ticket back into coaching by sharing my knowledge.

I am fully committed to this challenge and very excited about the outcome.

2. Brainstorm ideas for a product or service you think could be built and launched in 30 days. Write these ideas down somewhere you can refer back to over the coming days.

My initial product will be something that can be performed solo, rugby is a team sport but there are many unique skills per position that can be worked on by the individual. Later down the line I will move into group exercises but my mission is to get something up and running and available for sale. be a masterpiece or not, it has to be up online.

Here are some initial ideas I have come up with .

  • Private rugby coaching
  • Rugby fitness
  • How to pass
  • How to tackle
  • How to kick
  • Catching practice
  • Different types of kicking
  • Learning the Game
  • Strength training.

My heart and my head tell me that teaching individuals how to pass is the way to go as it is such an undeveloped skill in the USA and is such a crucial part of the sport, it is simple to teach and can be performed solo, but I have a few more steps to perform before I pick a subject

I am only a couple of days into Fizzle and think it is outstanding. If you are interested in signing up, please click the link below for a $1 trial. You won’t be disappointed.

My 30 Day Blogging Challange

By | 30 Day Challange, Blogging, Content Creation, Social Media | No Comments

Ok, so I have been absent for a while but I have a new task at hand that I want to document. I constantly tell clients and fiends that all you have to do with your site is publish useful content combined with a little social media and the traffic will come. obviously there is a little more to do in terms of optimizing your post and maybe collecting email addresses on your site, maybe some calls to action, some unique angle as to why you are different than anyone else out there, and also the ability for someone to get in touch with you so you can follow up. But that stuff can all be manipulated as you go along. Constant updates, whether daily, weekly or monthly should be key. I am going to find out.

Anyway. Here is my challenge to myself. I kind of also want to kick myself into high gear in terms of what I do, internet marketing, and also in the experimental side of online marketing.

Back to the challenge. I have numerous web properties that are sitting dormant and not really doing anything. so I am going to post content to them for 30 days in varying degrees of useful info and also in varying degrees of promotion an see what happens to the traffic.

Here is a rundown of the sites and also what I am going to do with them.

  • www.GetSkinCareProducts.com (formally www.NeriumOleaderSkinCare.com)
    • I got some great results with this product and also have an opportunity to make some money from it. So with this site I am going to post updates, videos and info about the product on a daily basis. I am also going to share the crap out of it via social media. I have an email signup form set up so that people can get more info, and I also have a 5 part auto-responder that goes out over 8 days.
    • I have numerous social media channels set up
      • Youtube
      • Facebook
      • Google +
      • Twitter
    • To keep me on track with the Sharing portion I am going to use this Social Media Checklist from Outbrain
  • www.YouthRugbyCoach.com
    • Rugby is my passion and I want to build up this blog to be of benefit to coaches and youth rugby players themselves. With this site I will post personal updates, training videos and general rugby videos. I will post to social media and interact. no newsletter stuff here (yet) although there is a signup form.
    • With this site i am going to post Surfing videos, add a little content which will probably be the description from the youtube video and share the post on Facebook, Thats it.
    • I am just going to post videos to this site. no promotion.

Each site is built on WordPress, I have differnet themes and plugins on each site so bear that in mind.

Over the next couple of days I will have a rundown of the traffic on each site, the themes used and the plugins I use. some sites may get a makeover or updates as I progress through this.

I would love to hear your comments so please feel leave some feedback below. 🙂

Ever wanted an Ebook Cover or a DVD Cover?

By | Graphic Design | No Comments

Have you ever wanted to make those Ebook covers that look super fancy, or maybe have a screen shoot nicely displayed on a mac or an Ipad to show that your content can be read anywear.

Ever thought about putting your ad or logo on a can of soda?

how about on a DVD? or a mug?

Well… This site has almost every thing you can think of and the site keeps adding new stuff.

The only issue is you need to have photoshop, but if you have that then creating this stuff is a breeze!

Check out at http://www.psdcovers.com for more info and check out the logos I made up below. Each one probably took about 10 mins max to make.
